REMA HORT MANN FOUNDATION

The Rema Hort Mann Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to honor the legacy of Rema Hort Mann by supporting cancer patients and emerging artists.

Peter Hort Quality of Life Grants facilitate connections between cancer patients and their loved ones, ensuring patients never face their treatment journey alone. We recognize the importance of emotional support and companionship during this challenging time.

Emerging Artist Grants, awarded annually, foster the growth of promising visual artists who demonstrate a strong commitment to contemporary creative practices.

Since our inception in 1995, the Rema Hort Mann Foundation has made a significant impact by awarding over 2,000 Quality of Life Cancer Grants and over 600 Emerging Artist Grants, totaling more than $8 million in support.
As we expand these vital grants, the Rema Hort Mann Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to serving cancer patients and artists. We actively engage with the New York Metropolitan community, hospitals, and the broader art world to further our dual mission of providing support and opportunities for individuals in need.
